Simple program that generates BRDF lookup tables for the split sum approximation of UE4-based PBR.
Usage: BRDFGenerator -f [filename] -s [size] -n [samples] -b [bits]
Options:
-f [filename] The location and filename of the output image. Must have an extension of ktx or dds.
-s [size] The size of the image in pixels per side. i.e. 512 will generate a 512x512 image.
-n [samples] The number of BRDF samples per pixel.
-b [bits] The number of floating point bits used to store the data. Can be either 16 or 32.

ICO image loading code based on ico.cpp
The tImageICO class knows how to load windows icon (ico) files. It loads the data into multiple tPixel arrays, one for
each frame (ico files may be multiple images at different resolutions). The loading code is a modificaton of code from
Victor Laskin. In particular the code now:
a) Loads all frames of an ico, not just the biggest one.
b) Supports embedded png images.
c) Supports widths and heights of 256.

Why Three Licenses?
===================
The zlib License could have been used instead of the Modified (3-clause) BSD
License, and since the IJG License effectively subsumes the distribution
conditions of the zlib License, this would have effectively placed
libjpeg-turbo binary distributions under the IJG License. However, the IJG

as of Dec 20, 2023. The code that is leveraged is the PVRTC1 (4bpp and 2bpp)
decode implementation found in PVRTDecompress.h and PVRTDecompress.cpp.
The decode for PVRTC2 is closed source. Imagination does provide PVRTexLib.dll
(from PVRTexTool) but:
a) It is nearly the same size as the Tacent suite of libs compiled as release

ZLIB DATA COMPRESSION LIBRARY
zlib 1.2.11 is a general purpose data compression library. All the code is
thread safe. The data format used by the zlib library is described by RFCs

- zlib doesn't work with gcc 2.6.3 on a DEC 3000/300LX under OSF/1 2.1 it works
when compiled with cc.
- On Digital Unix 4.0D (formely OSF/1) on AlphaServer, the cc option -std1 is
necessary to get gzprintf working correctly. This is done by configure.
- zlib doesn't work on HP-UX 9.05 with some versions of /bin/cc. It works with
other compilers. Use "make test" to check your compiler.
- gzdopen is not supported on RISCOS or BEOS.

Tacent View (this tool) and Tacent are licenced by me (Tristan Grimmer) under the ISC licence. This licence is similar to MIT but without the verbiage.
3rd-party SDKs contain their own licences and conditions. For licences used by Tacent see Licence*.txt in the Tacent/Docs directory. The licences for TacentView are a superset of the Tacent licences and are found in the Data directory.
